Crochet Octopus Pattern
I wanted to include this super cute pattern is written by Mohu. because it is so easy and fun to make. Plus, it was one of the first amigurumi patterns I made, so I know how easy it is for beginners. A nice plus about this pattern is that it can be used with any type of yarn and corresponding hook and it will still come out super cute. Here are just two of the several sizes I have made.
2. Crochet Sea Turtle Pattern
Second, I had to include this adorable sea turtle pattern. It is a little more complex than the octopus but is still very simple and easy for a beginner to understand. I think the only part beginners might. struggle with is when making the shell she uses the terms FLO and this means that you are going to crochet in the front loops only. When you look at a stitch from the top it makes a little “<” or “>” shape and to crochet in the front loop only you just pick up the top loop (the loop closest to you, in order to do the back loop only it is the loop farthest from you).
3. Crochet Seal Pattern
Next, I wanted to include this super cute pattern by the same artist Cute Crochet Craftss. This little seal is so squishy and easy to whip up. It also doesn’t involve as much sewing as the sea turtle which is a plus! It is also super easy to customize and make your own!
4. Crochet Stegosaurus Pattern
This adorable Little Steggy is by Choco Apple Shop Amigurumi and it has the cutest little spikes. It is super easy to switch up the colors or make with different-sized yarn. The pattern is super easy to follow and whips up very quickly. The only downside would be that there is a decent amount of sewing involved but it still doesn’t take that much time to put together.
A tip for sewing pieces on use straight pins to hold the pieces in place while you sew so you don’t end up putting it on crooked.
5. Crochet Duck Pattern
These little guys are killer cute, though I think I just prefer the cute part! Their little yellow bodies are super easy to make and then all you have to do is sew on the wings, beak, and feet! They’re also a great stash-buster idea since they are so small and don’t require a lot of yarn. The pattern is written by Sir Purl Grey.
Those are all of the patterns that I have today, but make sure you revisit some more in the coming months. Also, if you really want one of these but can’t figure a part of the directions out or just don’t want to make them yourself feel free to get in touch with me and I can help you. Either I can try to answer your question or actually make the little stuffy for you!
Until next time,
Happy Crocheting!
